The NAMM Show is the place to be for anyone lucky enough to belong to this industry. From accordions to zithers, attendees can find anything and everything musical there. Miles of aisles feature the newest, state-of-the-art music products, as well established classics and hot, up-and-coming innovations—all under one roof! In addition, attendees can choose from dozens upon dozens of free industry-focused training sessions, all designed to help Members grow their business. The NAMM Show is always an unforgettable event, with more than 80,000 registrants packing the aisles of the Anaheim Convention Center to check out the latest gear. The show is a star studded event with endorsing musicians such as Carlos Santana, Sheila E, Stevie Wonder, Dweezil Zappa, Keanu Reeves and Korn, adding to the spectacle as they pose for pictures and talk shop with show attendees. From CBS to CNN and E! Entertainment Television, journalists from throughout the world come to cover the new instruments unveiled.

Summer NAMM enables buyers to stock up for the fall and holiday seasons and enjoy meeting valuable business contacts face-to-face at a slower pace.

ALL of the NAMM trade shows are unique because—in addition to unifying the industry by bringing buyers and sellers together from around the world—the revenues from these popular events are channeled back into marketing the benefits of playing music. The result: more active music makers and increased profits for NAMM Members.

The NAMM Show is the largest music products trade show in United States. Held every January in Anaheim, California, USA the show brings together all facets of the music products industry to reveal new musical instruments/products and ideas to help music products retailers and manufacturers become more successful. More than 80,000 NAMM Members and guests attended the January 2007 show. The NAMM Show is not open to the general public.

The acronym NAMM originally stood for the National Association of Music Merchants, but has evolved from a national entity representing the interests of music products retailers to an international association including both commercial, retail members and affiliates. Therefore, the long form of the name is no longer used, and it is simply known as NAMM, the International Music Products Association.

The 2008 show takes place January 17 through January 20 in Anaheim.
